    my sons windows quit working found broken wire on drivers side between door and body inside the rubber boot

    How did you fix the broken wire? I'm pretty sure we have the same problem, if I shake the rubber boot I can usually get my windows to move again, but this system is getting really old. I took the care to a mechanic, who put in a new connector and motor for the drivers side window, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone tell me how to fix the broken wire myself?

    have not fixed it yet worked on it one night but did not have much luck getting door panel off
