    Hi there,

     

    I have a 2002 F-150.  I just took rhe truck to the car wash, and sprayed water on the engine and under the hood.  At the exact same time I installed a new locking gas cap.  The vehicle now misses and hesitates.   Any suggestions?

    I do not see any different between a flooded car and somebody spraying water into or on the engine, and electrical wires under the hood.
    What suggestions do you need?
