My check engine light recently came on on my 1998 Nisson Pathfinder. I brought it in to get check and was told that the Catalytic Convertor needs to be repalced. Is there another way to determine if this really does need to be replaced. Emission test? Anything else? I recently had a new exhaust system put in, so I am wondering if that had an impact on it.
