Hi,i have ford f 150 1997 --v-6 and I have problem with transmission .When i drive transmission doesn't shift to overdrive .what i mean is it shifts only in first two gears with out any problems and then it just doesn't go to the third gear or any higher gear.What I would like to know is ; is there any sensors that could cause this problem ...

turned on 4x4 getting clunking/grinding sound from front end, but 4x4 works?

i have a 97 f-150 with 156k runs great except when driving feels like it lulls or stuggles to get power then takes off.  its like the transmission is slipping but its manual and works fine at starts and most times while driving. getting worse.

Red battery lite came on, and lasted about 4 hrs, battery was draining, pulled into auto parts store, put in a new battery, lite still on still draining,  alternator??? or something else some one has dioscovered?? Thanks Ken

Is it possible to use front rotors for a 1996 model F150 on a 1997 model F150?

I have a 97 f150 with the windsor motor and ineed to know whats involved with swapping it out with a romeo both are 4.6 liters

i have a 1997 f-150 4x4 with an auto. trans. it had 120,000 miles on it when i bought it and at about 135,000 miles the trans. would shutter when shifting.i had a new torque conv. put in and now it has 155,000 miles.it is doing it again,but not as bad.actually,you have to know what you are looking for to even feel it.what is the problem?

Any recommendations where to look for remanufactured or crate engine? Can it be swapped out for any other size engine without much modification?
