car has a hard time starting over by it's self without the gas being pushed. When it does start the car idles at about 1000rpms and drops then stalls out. i went through and tried to clean out the caurborater componets but still does the same. any ideas to helping it idle higher. Someone told me it needs to be adjusted for the elevation. ...

We have a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE. 3800 series II engine, 6 cylinders, no supercharger, with air conditioning and have been having an ongoing problem for quite some time now.
