MY CIVIC HAS BEEN THROUGH HELL AND BACK WITH OVER 300,000 MILES. WHEN I GIVE IT GAS , IT WANTS TO ALMOST STALL THEN IT WILL CATCH UP TO ITS SELF. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX THIS PROBLEM OR WHERE SHOULD I START FIRST?

spray WD40 on your distributor cap when it won't start, if this fixes the problem you need either 1. simply a new gasket for 2 bucks or 2. a new dist. cap for 15 bucks (comes with gasket). I had this problem on my 93 civic ex. the moisture/condensation was leaking through a poorly sealed area and shorting the spark.
