    F250 brake Issues

I have an F250 pickup (2001) and I have had to replace the brake pads and turn the rotors several times.  The rotors seem to warp rather quickly.

I am not one to ride the brakes and have not had this warping problem with any other car I have had.  Are there any recalls that I should be aware of?  Where can I find a set of rotors that are not going to warp?

What type of pads do you use?  From personal experience I have found that the ceramic lifetime warranty pads seem to do damage.  Cheaper pads will break down and wear as you use them.  The ceramic pads are so hard that they don't break down, thus causing the rotor to " work harden" and get a glaze on them.  Once this happens the rotor heats up too much.  Heating and cooling over and over will cause the rotor to warp.  Just a thought.  Good luck with what you find.
