car will start three times then it just dies. have to wait till it cool for about 5 minutes and then it starts does anyone have any advise on what it could be.
I have checked the alternator, starter, spark plugs....

The problem could be the ICM (Ignition Control Module). They tend to be heat sensitive when they get old. Or you could also try checking the ignition coil to see if it went bad and replace it.
