I ran out of gas for the first time in my truck. I have run low before and had the truck surge on me, but I was always able to get fuel in it before running completely out. I put 5 gals. in the tank but it won't start. It has no fuel pressure from the tank. I changed the fuel filter and noticed no pressure and no noise coming from the tank. On Fords there is a reset button for the fuel pump so it doesn't burn itself up. So far no one can tell me if Chevy has one or not.
Is there a relay reset? or something else to check before I have to go into the gas tank? The pump acts like it is not getting any power.
Has anyone run into this before?
