    recently purchased 1987 ford bronco

within the last week i purchased a 1987 ford bronco 4x4. I was told that it has 60,000 miles on a rebuilt engine. the engine is a v-8, but i'm not sure what liter 5.0 or 5.8. it has eddelbrock headers and a new eddelbrock carburator. the issue that i am haveing is that once the engine has warmed up, it runs fine until you come to a stop. then, when you take off again it runs rough. there's hesitation when you press the gas. not necessarily like it's going to die, but runs rough. Almost like having bad gas or something. when you get up to about 40 mph it starts to smooth out a little, but is still a little rough. (note: it' doesn't do this all of the time, but about 80% of the time). Also, I noticed that if I put it in park the engine idles faster.(about 1000 rpm). when it's in drive it idles slower(about 800 rpm). i was wondering if you had any ideas of where i can begin problem solving...?
