I've had the top frame of my '67 convertible aligned, reproduction latches installed and a new top put on by a profesional top guy.
When the latches are closed to secure the top, the back of the latches are 3/4" above level and at 60 mph there is a 1/8' gap between the top and the windshield header. When I pull the latch down the gap is gone. The hook mechanism seems to be adjusted properly, but there is play at the handle pivot point. Is there something more to adjust or replace? How do we get the latches to fit properly?
