The oil light on our 2007 550I came on a couple of times. My husband was going to be smart and put a quart of oil in it. This is the oops. He put it in the WRONG place. We can't figure out what the reservoir is he put it in. It says CHFS-11 oil only on the lid. It is near the radiator cap and it has a small dip stick. He realized what he had done and tried to soak it up with a towel. Is this a major problem? We haven't driven the car. We are afraid it will need to be drained out. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO? Will this damage the car? He put a quart of synthetic engine oil in it.
