in 2wd only the rear drive train moves. i was having problems with my 4wd so i took off the drivers side tire and then removed the "hub lock mechinism" i looked inside and saw the lubed sprokets that fit over the "axel" with a scew driver, depressed the sping inside and it snapped back into place. now the front "axel" is moving when before it was stationary. now the 4wd drive now engages. are the front joints and such supposed to spin or remain stainary in 2WD??? and is this bad for my truck??
