    91 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1

    Hi,

My GP Starts, runs goods for a bit, then the idle gets erratic and stalls. Will not stay running. I have done a complete tune-up, changed the fuel pump, Fuel regulator, CrankShaft Sensor, T.P.S., I.A.C. and E.C.M. Here is a brief summary of what has happened up to this point,

Driving on the highway, car lost power (engine, like a sputter) briefly but continued on without a problem. When I got off the exit ramp, car stalled, started right back up with no problem. I arrived dest without a problem. After leaving (approx 40 minutes later) car started and I drove for about 5 minutes, car stalled and would not start. After about 45 minutes, car started. Drove a little further down the road car stalled again. This time it would not start at all. Changed gas filter, no start. Towed home and did complete tune-up, car started and ran great. Couple of day's later, problem started all over again. What would happen is strange, car would run fine without any problems, then all of a sudden the problem would start out of the blue. It would give me a hard time for a little while, and then seem to just go away. I dealt with it just stalling at times, but as long as it started right back up it was ok. Unfortunetly the problem became worse and something needed to get done. Changed fuel pump, and fuel regulator, car started and ran great. Day later, problem all over again. Changed crankshaft sensor, car started ran great. See the pattern here, everytime I did something, car ran great and then problem started again. Now I have changed the T.P.S, I.A.C. and the E.C.M. Car would start for a few seconds, idle gets real erratic and then stalls. Any help here would be much appreciated and needed. Thank you for taking your time to read this and for your help in any way.
