BTW, Answer to headlight problem is as follows:
Followed wires from headlight to a location just under the battery. Sitting there are 3 relays (middle one is headlight relay). Measured voltage on the feed to the control side of the circuit = 10.5 volts. Checked the wire visually and found a small "bump" (looked like a little snake that swallowed a mouse). Cut out that section of wire and spliced wire together, voltage now 12.4. And headlight relay works!
Cut the insulation on the wire and " skinned the snake", found a very small hole in the insulation and the wire deteriorated, the lump green: corrosion.
