I have a 1997 328i that is having intermittent problems with the in-dash heating & air conditioning module. Heat, blower and air conditioner work just fine, but the unit keeps turning itself on and off at inetermittent intervals. All lights go out and the blower stops. Ten minutes later it works and may work for a couple of days. Other times it turns on & off several times a day. I have checked all fuses and they seem fine .
Can anyone out there give me an idea of what the problem might be? Loose electrical connection?? Car is perfect other than this recent problem.
