I just replaced the water pump in my 2.2 liter Grand Am and now have a whine in the timing chain or in the chain that drives the water pump. I replaced the water pump again with a new pump and I still have the noise? I wondered if the chain tensioner for the water pump drive chain came loose when I took the bolts off from the water pump? There are two front bolts that hold the water pump in place and I wondered if they were connected to the plastic chain tensioner? I appreciate any thoughts before I tear farther into the motor
