My service traction light came on one day, and ever since then my car, when i put it into drive and start to go, makes a funny noise. I dont guess the engine is stalling but I stop pushing the gas for a second anyway. After a couple of seconds I can hit the gas and everything is back to normal. It does this every once in a while when I shift into gear and start to go. It does not ever do this when I turn off the trac control. This is my short term fix, I know I need to get it serviced but if there were a less expensive way then having people look at all kinds of other things I would like to know if anyone knows exactly what is wrong with it first.
