Our TIP is the actual market value of what vehicles are selling in your area. We supply this information to you so that you can take the printed out TIP price and say you want to pay no more than this price, since this is what the vehicles are selling for. It seems like the TIP on the Vibe is about 400 bucks over invoice, which is a fantastic price. PLUS the incentives on it will get you another $500 bucks off OR 0% financeing (I would take the 0% if you qualify (see our incentives vs finance calculator to compare savings). Basically, our TIP allows you to go into the dealership knowing you can get a great deal without the back and forth pricing war that is somethimes associated with buying a car.
As far as the best time to buy, usually toward the end of the month is a good time. However, with the TIP, you already have a great starting point, so if you need to buy in the beginning or middle of the month, you can expect to get the same great savings from your local dealership!
