Just to add to this forum maybe- the tailstock/tailshaft off the rear of the transfer case definetly will NOT bolt right up to the transmission. I still don't know whether or not a 2WD tailstock/tailshaft will bolt up to my transmission once the transfer case has been unbolted, and I am trying to find out still if any one knows for sure. OK jro, thanks. I will just have to tear it apart I guess. I wish I could mock it up and see but I don't have a spare parts truck. I will just give it shot and see. Actually did talk with a truck dismantler who said he had many transmission cores, so hopefully there will be one with a good tailstock. Then I will hopefully be able to find a ...
