1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 70,000 miles. When I use the remote, or even the key at the rear hatch, it sounds as if the rear hatch unlocks, however it will not open. Any ideas on how to fix it. Thanks

Last April our jeep alarm went off in the middle of the night. Nobody was around trying to break into it. We turned it off and it happened again, and again.
