2000 explorer elect ISSUES (RSS)

I cannot activate the heater in my 2000 Eddie Bauer Explorer unless I set the "Automatic" temp control to 80 degrees or higher. Everything else comes out cold.
The AC works fine. Even above 80 it's just lukewarm. Not a problem in the summer, but it will be in a few months.

day time running lights on approx 10 mins then start blinking for a few and then flash like hazzard lites meanwhile wipers come on for no reson for a few secs then shut off for awhile sometimes an hour or more then back on again ..... they stop when car off but drl stay on flashing till battery dead if you let ...
