I just bought this Grand Cherokee and I would like to replace it's "rebuilt" starter, which I feel is going to give me problems. I would really like to replace it my self, if it isnt too complicated and nip it in the bud. Can anyone explain how to complete this task. Thank you in advance. - Lee R.

I have a 96 Ranger XLT, 3.0l, 4x4 automatic with about 140k on it. Great driving truck until the tranny started acting up. Hard shift out of park and second gear wont kick in unless you slow down. The other gears work fine and drives great after the second gear shift happens. The code indicates faulty second gear ...
