My roommate has the same (?2.4L) sunfire! I took it to the autoshop and they said the checkengine light was coming on because cyl. #3 waas misfiring. now then with the coil packs I don't see how just 1 cylinder misfires as one coil pack sparks 2 cylinders! Can't find any info on the timing sequence and how the coils are controlled I will ...
