97 F150 4.2 liter, manual, 90,000 miles...just had tuneup, all fluids, sparks,wires filters changed...new DPFE installed, EGR has good vacuum.Problem:Check engine light flashes, then stays on constantly...engines stumbles for first 1/4 mile...Then white smoke appears from exhaust AFTER 1 mile...smokes for 5 minutes, then gone...engine runs ...

My check engine light just came on today.  I pulled the codes and it says that there is excessive flow in the exhaust gas recirculation system.  I have had trouble with the EGR system before, but it was due to insufficient flow and I had that line cleaned out.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do?  Do I just need ...
