I have A 1990 Ford F-150 and it dies(totally shuts off) as I am driving down the road This happens about 3-5 times in a 10 minute trip. When it dies I have to pull off the road , put it in park, and restart it. this is verry dangeerous! I almost get hit every day. this truck is my only means of transportation. PLEASE HELP!

My 96 F150 occasionally shudders very violently (feels as though it could dance off the road!) when decelerating from higher speed to around 45-50mph when overdrive is engaged--never has done this when overdrive locked out. All the smog stuff was taken out and the sticker is not readable, any help would deeply appreciated. I'm running out of time!! By the way it's a gas 460 V8 with 4 bbl carb (not factory).

I have a problem that I hope you can help me with. I have an F-150 with the V-8 Triton at 144,000 miles. The problem is getting the transmission to go smoothly between 2nd and 3rd gear.
