I cannot start my escape is there an ignition or inertia cutoff switch? If so where is it located?

I overloaded the 12 volt power outlet in my 2002 escape. I cannot find the fuse or relay. the closest I can find is the cigar fuse. Can anyone tell me where it is, and how to identify it?   Thank You Ron

2001 Escape LX; the light illuminating the odometer and gearshift indicator is out so you can't tell what gear you're in at night.  I can live with it but my wife is the main driver.  How can I replace the light?

When the remote or the unlock swithch fails to activate the lock on the rear hatch, how to get it open. Mine does not have a key lock for the hatch. Apparently the solenoild has gone bad. I need to get it open to repait it. HELP, please!
