    I just recently had the same problem, i found a short in the alternator electrical harness, fixed it and the lights dont flicker anymore.

  • Low Idling leading to stalls. 84 firebird s/e v6

    car has a hard time starting over by it's self without the gas being pushed. When it does start the car idles at about 1000rpms and drops then stalls out. i went through and tried to clean out the caurborater componets but still does the same. any ideas to helping it idle higher. Someone told me it needs to be adjusted for the elevation. ...

  • 2000 Bonneville AC only blowing out passenger side....

    I have a 2000 Bonneville that has a problem when I turn on the AC nothing blows out the drivers side vents.  The duel side controls seem to work and the dash has been apart several times at the shop and they say everything is functional.  Does anyone know of this issue? or a solution?  Thanks, Cuda_man_73

  • Sunroof in 1999 Grand Am

    The sunroof in my 1999 Grand Am is stuck in the open position.   I replaced the fuse but nothing happened.  It appears that the electric motor is not working. How do I close it?

  • Re: Car will turn over but will not start what is the likley hood of it being plugs and wires and what else can it be if not those or the fuel pump?

  • 1992 LeMans charging system

    have a new battery, alternator and started starts car as long as battery has charge.  All fuses in fuse box good. all the wires seem to be connected well, but I'm still not reciving power to gauges and battery not charging. what else could it be?  also good cables and good ground. just no charge coming back toward battery.

  • 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT

    I have noticed in the past couple of days when I turn on my car the instrument panel is hesitating before lighting up.  Today the hesitation is even longer.  The car starts up fine, but the instrument panel just doesn't reset or come on right away.  Any idea what could be causing this?  Thanks for your help!
