This just started yesterday and when it is making the noise, I can feel it under my feet.   When I shift into 2nd gear the noise is much less, as the car warms up the noise stops but this takes a long time.  Any ideas what this could be?  I am a new owner of this car and I want to take care of it.

Door intermitently will not unlock after I go to get gas. Has happened twice so far. When I use the manual release, the door unlatches and then seems to respond properly to the remote key lock. Have removed and re-installed relay in right trunk for remote lock/unlock. All other remote lock/unlocks work. i.e. doors, trunk lid.

1978 5 series.  I've got a sour odor, most prounounced in my trunk.  Dealer says he has never heard of this, but others with 5 series this old say this is common.  I cannot find the source of this.  Any help?
