My running lights are out and I was trying to check the fuses, but my fuse map is gone and some slots are empty. I'm at a loss and need help

why has my steering locked and my ignition key will not budge?  

We accidentally installed our battery incorrectly so now none of the dash board mechanisms work.  The horn, ac, radio, speedometer, back lights, nor the power windows work.  We have checked the fueses but all are good.  What else could be the problem?

I am intrested in buying a Toyota Yaris, my first question is does this particular car holds it value after the first year and my second question is if the asking price after adding in the options is 16.000 how much do you believe i can talk the dealer down off of the asking price
