I have a problem with my 1990 Bonneville cutting off as I drive. It seems to get better after it warms up a lot but until then it will cut off several times. I can put it in neutral and coast and turn the ignition switch and it comes back on for a while.

car has a hard time starting over by it's self without the gas being pushed. When it does start the car idles at about 1000rpms and drops then stalls out. i went through and tried to clean out the caurborater componets but still does the same. any ideas to helping it idle higher. We have a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE. 3800 series II engine, 6 cylinders, no supercharger, with air conditioning and have been having an ongoing problem for quite some time now.
