You sound like you might be able to help me, I to have a 94 525i and in my Bentley's Manual it states that the crank sensor should have a resistance of aprox. 1,280 ohms for this car/engine and in testing the unit that was in the car, which may not have been original and the car has not run since I have had it, it read bad.
